Drew "Boogie" Douglass was an amazing kid. He was hard working, adventurous, kind-hearted, athletic and outgoing. He was caring to others and a friend to many. Despite always having a smile on his face, he, like many of his peers, silently struggled with anxiety and depression and ultimately took his own life at age 14. Together with a group of passionate friends, the Douglass Family (Steve, Jennie, Lane & Jake) started the non-profit, Drew North Foundation, to raise awareness of suicide and depression. The goal is to give teens, staff, and volunteers resources and strategies to cope during adverse times.

Our mission is to raise awareness about teen suicide, offer hope to those who struggle, and support families through education, prevention, and action. We believe every life has value, and no one should have to face mental health challenges alone.
